Exams
There are six multiple choice exams, two taken in November, two in March and two in June. Students can take either foundation or higher papers. You can monitor your learning using the Bitesize mock exams and the AQA exam board past paper exams.
Coursework
Three pieces of coursework (isas) will be carried out over the year, one in each subject area. This assesses a piece of practical work that you have carried out in the lesson and then tests how you can relate this to your How Science Works Skills. In addition to your isas, you will be carrying out practical work for which a full written report is required. This will be peer assessed in class time. Guidance on producing a report and a copy of the marking grid that will be used is found in this file.
